THE True Tarikat of Zoroastrian Religion
Tarikat refers to Zoroastrian religious practices, customs, observances and thus in essence lives through our words, deeds and thoughts. No two human beings are identical and so in spite of shared experiences etc, each will pursue their own individual Tarikat. This can and does sometimes pose problems for our community but is alleviated by the fact that most Zoroastrians observe a similar form of Tarikat. In its truest sense of the word Tarikat can only be understood and observed by a practicing Zoroastrian who spiritually possesses a divine relationship with DADAR AHURAMAZDA, in conjunction with an appreciation of the link between Zoroastrians and Iran. One only has to consider our beloved Paighambar Saheb Asho Zarathustra Spitama - Prophet of Prophets, Lord of Garothman Behest and RATU, Koh-e-Demavand - home to The Pak Magav Sahebs and other cadres of Zoroastrians living therein, Takht-e-Jamsheed - the throne of Shah-ra-Shah i.e. King of Kings, and The Shah Nameh to realise from a Zoroastrian perspective how these names and the stories behind them evoke everlasting belief in our eternal Zoroastrian religion, therby inspiring countless generations of Zoroastrians to follow the True Tarikat. By this I specifically mean that Zoroastrians -
a) wear their sudreh and kusti
b) recite their prayers in Avesta Manthra
c) attend consecrated Fire Temples everyday
d) only marry Zoroastrians
e) never smoke cigarettes/put out matches
f) have their dead bodies consumed by the power of Khorshed-Negarishni within a Dokhma
g) keep absolute faith ONLY in the Zoroastrian religion, and
h) accept and understand the fact that Avesta Manthra is the language of spiritually advanced beings from DADAR AHURAMAZDAS realm of Hasti, and therefore it cannot be deciphered or understood by humanity.
Our ancestors left Iran to live inside India in order to preserve our religion, consecrate our greatest Fire - Pak Iranshah Atash Behram Saheb and lay the foundations approximately 1300 years later for the rejuvenation of our religion by our 100th Rainidar Saheb Shah-ra-Shah Shah Behram Varjavand. Their leader was an Abed Saheb from Koh-e-Demavand named Nairosang Avval, who instructed them to secretly pass on certain advanced religious concepts, practices and usage of prayres on a need to know basis dependent upon the personal Tarikat of that particular individual who wished to learn more about their religion. Thus by word of mouth these secrets were passed on down through successive generations upto the present time. Tarikat could not however be preserved to the same degree inside Iran although an even greater sum total of knowledge existed therein, as I have found out by meeting Iranian Zoroastrians who correctly observe it and simultaneously await the coming of Shah Behram. Today by the grace of DADAR AHURAMAZDA those who zealously guarded those aspects of advanced Zoroastrian religious knowledge known to them, and those who did not know of it, are ALL being brought together through the inexorable growth of The Pundol Group of Zoroastrians, such that our numbers are now measured in the thousands.
In conclusion may I draw your attention to the fact that it is considered a very serious sin (gunah) to impart advanced Zoroastrian religious knowledge to those within our community or to non-Zoroastrians who would abuse or denigrate it. When I meet you I shall clarify this matter further, but for now urge you to consider very carefully before you decide to impart any information or live your life in a manner that goes against the True Tarikat of Zoroastrian religion. Minocher Saheb always stated that one who unknowingly commits sin can seek a pardon from DADAR AHURAMAZDA, but those who do so knowingly must pay a very heavy price.
